Key Responsibilities:
- Edit video footage into final products: commercials, social media content, promotional videos, events etc.
- Colour grading, audio balancing, adding effects, transitions, graphics where appropriate.
- Ensure consistency in style, pacing, brand guidelines, and quality.
- Collaborate with videographers, creative & marketing teams to understand project objectives and deliverables.
- Manage media files, backups, and project organisation.
- Stay current with editing tools, software, trends in video formats (e.g., Reels, TikTok, YouTube).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3‑4 years of video editing experience, ideally in production, media, digital marketing or creative agency context.
- Strong portfolio or show reel with published/produced work.
- Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects etc.
- Good sense of timing, storytelling, motion graphics, sound design.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
Software Knowledge & Experience:
- Adobe Premiere Pro – Expert level. Must handle complex edits, multicam sequences, and heavy timelines.
- Adobe After Effects – For motion graphics, animation, lower-thirds, and visual effects.
- DaVinci Resolve – Strong knowledge of color grading, LUTs, and exporting formats.
- Adobe Media Encoder – For compressing and exporting video in various formats.
- Adobe Audition – For audio cleaning, voice-over mixing, and syncing.
- Illustrator – Basic skills to handle visual assets, thumbnails, or overlays.
- File management in Google Drive / Dropbox / Frame.io.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Final Cut Pro or CapCut for social media quick edits.
